Machine Learning Engineer II

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to create powerful algorithms and analytical tools in the digital health space. You will be in charge of designing and implementing algorithms that will process time series data from wearable and environmental sensors, and train models that relate to disease symptoms in order to produce meaningful metrics (digital endpoints) for patients and healthcare practitioners.

What You'll Do

  • Feature Engineering
  • Perform signal analysis and conditioning
  • Implement appropriate algorithms to classify Human Activities and States
  • Run tests, perform statistical analysis, and interpret test results
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Write technical documentation

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning or similar role (3+ years of experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks (any of Keras, TensorFlow, SciKit), libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
  • Experience in Deep Learning algorithms and models (LSTM, RNN, CNN)
  • Proficient knowledge in Python code writing
  • Ability to write concise and neat code
  • Knowledgeable in signal processing and feature engineering
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • An analytical mind
  • Prior experience in Human Activity Recognition and classification will be cnsidered a plus
  • Degree in Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field
